UPDATE: I shaved poor Mala's tail this morning to have better access to her injury. After it was cleaned, disinfected and slathered with Neosporin, she seems to be a bit more comfortable despite how awkward her tail looks now. I will be cleaning it several time a day and keeping an eye on it. Here's to hoping she can heal at home.

As you may have guessed from my previous journal, this couldn't have come at a worse time...

Mala has a large open wound on the underside of her tail...I didn't notice it until she was chewing on her butt this afternoon and came back with a rather sizable chuck of hair and then I saw the blood. It looks really bad, and it's bothering her a lot. I am keeping it clean and putting Neosporin on it until I can get her to the vet, which thanks to the holiday, won't be until Monday or Tuesday at the earliest.

So...I am trying to sell more things...trying to get together any money I can, not only for her vet bill, but also for the things mentioned in the said previous journal...and my cat scan bill finally came...and I could use a trip to the doctor too...

With everything hitting at once with the house and all the problems there and with vehicles, I need all the help I can get...
